Benediction online!
posted by Voxfreax on 02 December 2011
What would you think if another demogroup was launching another CPC-related website? Yeah, we guess you hate this suggestion already... Too bad for you though, as the up to now web-homeless Benediction team found a lair to be hosted and spend the cold days of winter!

So yes, it's true; BND team is online! Thanks to the great help and generosity of Push'n'Pop's administrators, we would like to invite you to our brand new official website. Feel free to roam around and discover everything in our small web home. You can find and download all our releases in the dedicated releases page.

Nowadays, CPC's presence in the important computer-related events is a usual fact. FOReVER is one of the most famous and oldest 8bits parties, held with a friendly spirit. Last year, some of us were there and CPC had entries in the demo, intro and graphics compos, with the now legendary Batman Forever demo! FOReVER XIII will be held 16-18 March 2012 in Slovakia. The trip is really worthing it, especially if you consider visiting Bratislava or Trencin to drink Slofkola and enjoy typical meals... We talk about this event on the forum!

HxC emulators are now a common hardware in the CPC world. The original point is that this hardware is not specific to the CPC but compatible with nearly every machine using a disc-drive. It's the moment for Push'n'Pop readers all around the world to know more about the people behind this high-quality hardware. So Lotharek answered as fast as an arrow to this interview. Jeff brought some extra informations.
Edge Grinder

September seems to be the Shoot'em up month! Before the R-type's remix is finished, Paul Kooistra (already known for his previous games) released Edge Grinder, a C64 conversion. The game is technically a success with a very smooth animation and some nice graphics, and once again the soundtrack was composed by Tom&Jerry. Prepare your spacebar!

During the Reset #0 Party held in Coutances (France) last june, we had the pleasure to talk to a cool guy named Fano, who is the programmer of one of the best CPC shoot'em'up which should be released this month, the great R-Type. Don't miss the interview! (for our lazy french readers, a dedicated version is available!)

Today is a special day on Push'n'Pop. But what's going on? Is Iron cured of his Tourette's syndrome? No... Did NoRecess learn self mockery? Not yet! Did Vanity stop to be arrogant? Ahah! Today, Push'n'Pop was launched 1 year ago to the day! It justified a little retrospective in the past, present and future of the website. Yeah, you guess it, it's only the beginning of the road.
