posted by Toms on 17 December 2010
One year and a half after the release of Pheelone, NoRecess is back with a new demo called Phreaks. Once again, he worked with CeD for the graphic stuff and an unknown young musician joined them to make dance a mysterious character. A complete review will follow, but now you can talk about Phreaks on the forum!

Edit: you can read a review of Phreaks here!
9th Annual Scene.org Awards Nominee suggestions

Hey! Time to prove that the CPC scene is alive! Scene.org and Pouet.net invite you to suggest your favorite prods released in 2010 for each award category judged by the jury. I've already an idea for the "Best demo on an oldschool platform", "Best 4k intro" and "Best technical achievement" categories... Just log in Pouet and let the jury know your choice! Here is the way to follow! Don't forget it's just a suggestion to make sure that the jury doesn't miss anything... You'll have to wait for January 2011 to make your favorite demo win the "Public choice" award!

What?! A propaganda?!

A new rule appeared on Push’n’Pop:

- A report for every party
- A review for every demo

The recent release of a new bundle of Overflow's previews gives Push'n'Pop the opportunity for its first demo review! If you are ready for a critical approach click here, else try that.

Finally, the sulfurous and mysterious Iggy Push recovered from the Main to write a report (french only). You'll also find some photos of the event, the participants list, and perhaps some Chartreuse stains. There you should go!

Please check that the files are not already present in the archives. And I promise, we will sort out all this mess :)

After a hard work, the still rising demogroup Vanity stroke again at Main 2010 with an impressive 4K intro called Moody! Hicks coded a real-time 3D engine, colour-designed by Beb and tuned by Tom&Jerry... All fitted in 4K! The three guys got the 4th place in the competition.

The well-known group Brainstorm has also submitted a CPC entry to the Wild Competition. They got the 3rd place with Now!, a nice musicdisk composed by Ultrasyd and FenyxKell.

A full report will be published as soon as our reporters will have recovered from this crazy week-end...
